YOGA: Good for the Aging

A one-on-one conversation with Sissy St. John provided me with a sense of some of the benefits that Yoga can bring into the lives of senior citizens.

According to her website statement:

“Sissy started her training in LA with the original founders of YogaWorks and in 2006 moved to New York to continue her study under the guidance and tutelage of Yogiraj Alan Finger, creator and founder of ISHTA Yoga. She later developed a love of Yin Yoga and greatly enjoys teaching and practicing this slow, grounding style of yoga.”

Her certifications include: YogaWorks 500hr, Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500, Anusara Yoga, Pre & Postnatal Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. 

Sissy is also a Certified Aromatherapist.
