I am not for any stretch of my imagination suggesting that any of us can do what Tiger does – but we can consider what it means to us as just ‘ordinary’ people if we challenge our own physical pain . According to an article I read at the AARP website – ” Researchers have found that regular aerobic exercise appears to increase the size of the hippocampus, the region of the brain responsible for memory. ” It also can be good for your eyes! I can personally attest to the fact that it can give you a better night’s sleep. It can reduce depression by lifting your mood. AND – Doctors found that just one hour of brisk walking a week — or less than 10 minutes a day — was enough to reduce the risk of disability in adults who already had osteoarthritis.
